These are just some of the animals that use the Preserve area as habitat.

Collier County is FAILING to acknowledge these animals as using the preserve, even though their presence is well known
and they have been observed repeatedly by residents.

Where will these animals go if the preserve is destroyed for more residential housing?

There is no other undeveloped land left in the area...So they may be in our yards instead of their native habitat.

UPDATE:  On 3/24/15 the commissioners voted NOT to open the PUD, or amend the zoning.

Commissioners Penny Taylor and Donna Fiala voted in OUR favor, with Henning, Nance and Hiller voting in favor of the developer.

The developer didn't get the 4 votes he needed, so we had VICTORY!
